What I’ve learned from 30 years of Teaching High School Math

Thirty years of teaching high school math has taught me a lot—mostly that I still don’t have it all figured out. I’ve learned to worry less about the perfect lesson, listen differently when students say “I don’t know,” and accept that sometimes covering less math means teaching students more about how to think, adapt, and persevere.
